Chapter 31 Offense and Defense in Transformation
"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible! It's just a young dragon, how could it unleash such powerful breath attacks repeatedly!"

"It hurts! My whole body aches, someone help me!"

…………
A torrent of breath swirled around Thor, weaving an unbreakable wall of fire, and the orcs trapped within it let out one painful howl after another.
Even the tall, burly orc leader collapsed helplessly to the ground.
As a level 7 orc berserker, he possesses formidable strength, a resilient physique, and considerable mental immunity, but lacks sufficient elemental resistance.
After being directly struck by the scorching dragon's breath, his legs were charred black, his skin and flesh were torn open, and the bones inside were clearly visible.
However, the martial worship inherited from the orcs, coupled with the weakening of pain sensation after going berserk, still made him roar and want to launch an attack.
Sistana and Culp took this opportunity to reach Thor and successfully reunite with him.
"Where did you lowly bastards come from? Why do you invade our territory!"
"Damn orcs, I'll tear you to pieces!"
The two fledgling dragons roared, but their response was met with heavy arrows shot from afar.
With their powerful dynamic vision, the three fledgling dragons could clearly capture the trajectory of the arrows as they flew through the air. With a sudden push of their feet, they scattered and flew away.
After exhaling twice in succession, Thor felt a weak emptiness in his body. Unwilling to get entangled with these orcs any longer, he immediately led the two young dragons to break through down the mountain.
Several orcs wielding spears tried to stop him, but Thor easily knocked them to the ground and stepped over them.
The short spears thrown from behind were dodged by the young dragons with all their might, and those that could not be dodged were taken down by their thick backs.
In the blink of an eye, the three fledgling dragons disappeared into the night forest. The orcs, unable to catch up, had no choice but to stop and rescue the wounded.
…………
Thor didn't run far before he realized there were no pursuers behind him and immediately stopped.
The three baby dragons sat crouching under a dense birch tree, while Sistana and Calp licked their wounds and growled resentfully.
"Those damned orc bastards, I'll remember them, I'll get my revenge someday."
"Then we'll tie their hands and feet up and burn them in a raging fire!"
Thor turned to look in the direction he had come from; the flames on the mountaintop had not yet died down, casting a warm orange-red glow.
after?
Is there a chance?
He couldn't wait until then; he wanted to wipe out all those orcs today.
With a ferocious grin spreading across his face, Thor focused his attention on the giant spinning wheel in his mind. The battle with the orcs had given him about 3 points of mental energy essence, slightly making up for his previous losses.
As two of his points were consumed, the air rippled like water, and two dragon crystals appeared in mid-air, falling into his claws.
He stuffed one of the pieces directly into his mouth, using the active ancient dragon and planetary life force inside to quickly replenish his body's energy.
He broke the other piece in half and gave it to Sistana and Kalp.
"As red dragons, you actually think about taking revenge later? You have truly disgraced the red dragons!"
"Rest for a bit, then follow me. Tonight we'll burn those damned orcs to ashes!"
A deep, angry roar echoed beneath the tree, instantly snapping Sistana and Kalp, who were staring intently at the dragon crystal fragments, back to their senses.
Thanks to the dragon's powerful physique and the abundant energy released by the dragon crystal, Thor's wounds quickly stopped bleeding, and his previously empty and weak body was once again filled with power.
He spread his wide wings, gave a sudden jolt, and lifted off the ground. His body spiraled upwards, and he soon reached a height of several hundred meters.
His high altitude gave him the advantage of being able to see almost the entire mountaintop, and the orcs who were resting there naturally came into his view as well.
In the previous battle, about a dozen orcs were either enveloped by dragon breath or torn apart by claws and teeth. Some were already motionless, while others were seriously injured and lying on the ground, unable to move freely.
The remaining orcs were cutting down trees nearby and weaving simple stretchers with the long ropes they carried, intending to carry the wounded back to the settlement.
Seeing this, Thor did not immediately launch an attack. He folded his wings and landed back on the ground, beckoning the two hatchlings to approach silently, little by little.
As a half-orc wielding a battle axe approached a nearby birch tree, preparing to cut some small branches, his inherited orcish darkvision suddenly revealed a scarlet figure in front of him.
Before he could react, Thor had already pounced out from behind the tree with two baby dragons, using their size advantage to instantly pin the orc to the ground. Three large mouths simultaneously bit his throat and limbs, pulling him upwards with all their might.
With a tearing sound like ripping silk, a large amount of blood gushed out, and the orc died instantly.
However, the sound he made when he landed still woke up his companions who were not far away.
"What happened?!"
"Watch out! Those red dragons haven't left at all!"
A series of rough roars suddenly rang out, and a large number of orcs swarmed in with weapons, but Thor and his companions were nowhere to be seen. Only an orc corpse, still twitching instinctively, remained.
As they gazed at the dense thicket before them, a sense of dread washed over them, as if behind every tree, a pair of cold, vertical pupils were staring intently at them.
"Those red dragons...those red dragons are hiding in the bushes!"
"Everyone, follow me and charge in! Cut their heads off!"
"But what about the wounded? If we rush in, those red dragons might take the opportunity to kill them."
An invisible pressure weighed on the orcs' nerves. Some advocated taking the initiative to attack, while others felt that the wounded should be taken back to the tribe first. The two sides argued and couldn't reach an agreement, which led to a small chaos.
But in the end, the side advocating retreat prevailed, since without their help, the remaining orcs dared not charge into the thicket alone.
Soon, the orcs retreated to the site of the previous battle, picked up their weapons, looked around warily, and after half of them lifted the wounded from the ground, they began to retreat quickly.
Thor, with Sistana and Culp, followed behind at a leisurely pace.
He stopped concealing his footsteps and instead actively created noise, constantly putting pressure on the orcs in front of him.
At first, the orcs were able to maintain their formation and retreat in an orderly manner, but as their anxiety grew, their steps became hurried.
Before long, brisk walking turned into jogging, and then into a long run.
The difference in strength, coupled with the varying weights they carried, caused each orc to move at different speeds, gradually stretching out and dispersing the entire group.
One of the last orcs listened in terror to the approaching footsteps behind him, frantically trying to move his legs, but he couldn't shake off the distance.
As a red shadow flashed by, his entire body was slammed to the ground, followed by excruciating pain and complete darkness.
His death did not stop the orcs ahead; instead, it made them run even faster.
When their mental defenses completely collapsed, the orcs carrying the wounded abandoned their companions, just to run faster.
Thor, who was following far behind, saw this scene and a sinister smile instantly appeared on his lips.
The hunt has begun!
