Chapter 52 War is Coming
Chapter 52 War is Coming
After a brief moment of thought, Thor decided that future matters could be discussed later, as there was no need to make such long-term plans at his current stage.
When he truly reaches the point of building his own territory, he will inevitably have mastered more ways to obtain spiritual essence. Even if he spends an extra two or three hundred points, it will only be a drop in the ocean.
Having made up his mind, Thor immediately chose to withdraw the money. A ball of light, enveloping the spirit of the Great Boar King, emerged and launched a fierce charge at him.
In an instant, a large amount of heat surged out of his body, making Thor's entire body feel as if it were immersed in scalding magma.
Pure life energy continuously washed over his muscles and bones, awakening the ancient genes that had been dormant deep within his cells.
No further prompts appeared. Just as Thor had expected, the boar's physical structure offered no advantage over him, so he didn't gain any special abilities.
However, he clearly felt that his strength and physique had increased to a certain extent. Under the effect of magical vision, the floating elemental light spots in the air became clearer and more discernible.
Even without consciously meditating, every moment, trace amounts of magical elements would actively enter his body, subtly transforming his physique and increasing his magical capacity.
"Power! An endless stream of power is surging forth! I feel incredibly strong right now, even able to unleash a continuous burst of fiery breath for several minutes."
The excess magic within him caused Thor to exhale a hot breath, billowing smoke mixed with sparks and carrying a strong sulfurous smell.
In the spot where he often lay prone in the cave, there were already scattered, hard structures resembling red bricks.
This is a change that occurs when clay is affected by the elements of fire and earth, just like the pools where those black dragons live are filled with foul-smelling, rotten water.
Under normal circumstances, relying on the magic power emanating from the young dragon's body, it would take at least one to two years for the surrounding environment to show significant changes.
However, the magic power within Thor is far greater than that of an ordinary young dragon. Each time a monster template is loaded, the power increases so rapidly that it is uncontrollably released outwards, causing even more significant changes to the environment.
Then, Thor turned his head to look at his body. There seemed to be a layer of flames dancing on the surface of his scarlet scales. His length from head to tail had increased, and he was now close to eighteen feet long.
This is not good news. After all, you can find ways to hide other aspects, but you can't hide your body shape no matter what.
Whose baby dragon can grow to nearly twenty feet long? It's like a five-year-old child who is almost 1.8 meters tall; anyone who sees that would think there's definitely something wrong with it.
After much thought, Thor still couldn't come up with a solution. Dragons' size and growth are closely tied; they almost always grow larger throughout their lives, making it difficult to interfere with this process.
Perhaps we can save up the essence first and see if we can get a high-level monster template in one go?
Just as Thor was deep in thought, a loud roar suddenly came from outside the cave. The unique crackling sound of electricity indicated that the sound came from the blue dragon.
"You idiots, come here! I have something to tell you!"
The power contained in that voice was far beyond what a young dragon could possess. Thor quickly realized that it must be the young blue dragon who was in charge of guarding them.
This guy seems to have vanished into thin air since he brought them to this oasis, and has never appeared again. Why is he suddenly showing up now?
With a hint of doubt, Thor stepped out of the cave, flapped his large wings and took off. Sure enough, on the top of the Gobi Desert not far away, he saw the figure of the blue dragon named Leilia.
Her body, which was over forty feet long, was covered with bright, deep blue scales that shone like sapphires in the sunlight.
This guy is also a blue dragon. Could it be that he has some objection to my beating up other blue dragon hatchlings?
A sense of unease rose in Thor's heart, but he still flapped his wings and landed not far in front of Leilia.
Because their nests were relatively close together, he was the first to arrive, and soon after, Sistana and Kalp also arrived.
The three red dragon hatchlings sat together, their sizes were worlds apart. Sistana and Kalp had barely grown in size over the past two months, and were now much smaller than Thor.
Leilia's gaze swept past the two little red dragons and landed on the tallest and strongest Thor, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes.
She remembered that when she brought this cub here last time, it wasn't this big. How could it have grown so fast?
Moreover, its ferocious head, thick neck, strong limbs, exceptionally developed wings, and thick, long tail, along with its scarlet, fiery scales, perfectly match the aesthetics of a dragon.
Speaking of which, I've already entered my youth, and the reproductive instinct in my blood has begun to stir. It's time to prepare to build my own clan.
As a blue dragon with ideals and ambitions, Leilia was naturally unwilling to remain subordinate to other blue dragons. She planned to wait until she was stronger before leaving her current group to find her own territory.
To build a territory, you need your own retinue, and for a blue dragon, the best retinue is undoubtedly its own direct descendants.
However, a single female dragon obviously cannot lay eggs. If she were to seek out other adult dragons, there would be a risk of being overtaken by them. And she doesn't seem to like young dragons.
Judging from the size of this red dragon cub, its bloodline must be extraordinary. If we could capture it and imprison it before leaving, and train it...
That unwavering gaze made Thor feel a little uneasy, and he began to wonder what he had done to catch her attention.
But there were just too many possibilities, and even after the remaining baby dragons arrived one after another, Leilia looked away, still unable to find the answer.
Verix looked at Thor, who was sitting quietly to the side, and couldn't help but raise his head high.
The so-called fearless red dragon is only arrogant among young dragons. When it encounters a truly powerful blue dragon, it still behaves itself and dares not make any rash moves.
Indeed, only the Blue Dragons are the greatest. Temporary setbacks are nothing. Once they grow stronger, they will surely crush all their enemies under their feet.
That provocative gaze quickly caught Thor's attention. He turned his head and glanced at it, but assumed he was looking at an idiot.
Seeing that all the baby dragons had arrived, Leilia once again growled in a low voice with an electric undertone.
"The clan has raised you for almost ten years. It's time for you to repay the clan. In three days, I will lead you to the battlefield. Those who don't want to die, get ready!"
After saying that, Leilia spread her wings and, without giving the young dragons time to ask questions, prepared to leave.
Just then, a young blue dragon leaped out from among the dragons and shouted loudly.
"My great Lady Leilia, I have something to report... that red dragon..."

Many readers have expressed their aversion to the idea of sharing templates with other creatures.
But if you think about it differently, is it the same to have money that you can only use yourself, or to have money that you can give to whomever you want?
Moreover, many gods in D&D are racial gods, ascending to godhood through the support of their own race, which is arguably the simplest method.
Giving the template to other creatures is equivalent to transforming them into your own race, a point that will be indispensable in the later content.
Just like the five-colored dragons and Tiamat, the metal dragons and Bahamut.
Furthermore, it avoids the self-destructive act of developing a retinue due to insufficient strength. After all, in the previous chapter, the focus was on saving it rather than using it immediately, right?
Please be patient with me. All the initial investments are for a greater return.
(There will still be two updates tonight at 11:30 PM. This chapter is an apology for any unpleasant reading experience.)
